Pamela Ofstein, eDiets Director of Nutrition Services, is responsible for the development and implementation of the company's personalized meal plan nutritional components. Ms. Ofstein, a registered and licensed dietitian, shares her expertise to help promote a healthy lifestyle and achieve their goals. Along with the staff of nutrition professionals, she continues to widen and enhance eDiets.com's personalized services and promote the importance of member support. Following receipt of her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Florida State University, Ms. Ofstein earned her Master of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition from Florida International University. She is a member of the Florida Dietetic Association, the American Dietetic Association and the Florida Council on Renal Nutrition and served on the board of the Broward County Dietetic Association. In addition to being named "The Young Recognized Dietitian for the Broward County Dietetic Association and the recipient of the National Kidney Foundation 2006 Dietitian Exemplary Practice Award,? she has served as an officer for the Florida Council on Renal Nutrition (FCRN) for five years and now serves as the Treasurer of FCRN. Ms. Ofstein has vast clinical experience and has mastered meeting the varied nutritional needs of a large number of patients. She has a special interest in providing proper nutrition for patients with chronic diseases and has spent many years providing nutrition education to individuals experiencing renal disease. She continues to contribute health related information to different media venues including magazines, radio, web videos and television; serving as private clinical consultant to local physicians promoting health and wellbeing to the public sector, educating both adults and children.
