Denise has been a Nutrition Specialist with the eDiets Nutrition Support team for seven years. She is responsible for providing nutritional support and guidance to the members of eDiets who are trying to lose weight and obtain their goal to live a healthy lifestyle. Denise has an associate's degree in Dietetics from Palm Beach Community College and is a certified personal trainer with the American Fitness and Aerobics Association. She is also a certified sports nutritionist with the International Fitness Association and received a certification for Adult Weight Management from the American Dietetic Association. In addition to these many certifications, she is a member of the Florida Dietetic Association, the American Dietetic Association and the American Diabetes Association. Denise has Type 1 diabetes for over 25 years, so along with her educational experience, her diabetes allows her to better understand the importance of trying to change one's lifestyle to a more fulfilling and healthier one, along with acknowledging the obstacles that one may encounter along the way.
