Mmmm... a simple yet savory sandwich doesn't get any better than this tomato melt. The combination of sizzling cheese and firm tomato is perfect, and one that you won't feel guilty about!

Ingredients

2 slices low-sodium whole-wheat bread
2 1/2 oz. low-fat or nonfat cheese of choice
4 tomato slices

Directions

Top bread with cheese and tomato slices and broil until cheese begins to melt. Serve. Makes one serving. Nutritional values per serving: 270 calories, 7g fat (4.0g sat), 23g protein, 30g carbohydrate, 4g fiber, 15mg cholesterol, 310mg sodium and 5g sugar.
