If I have food allergies or intolerances, can I change my plan to avoid individual foods?

If you and your healthcare professional have determined that you have a food allergy and/or intolerance, it's important for you to be proactive and choose your foods wisely. Our plans are flexible and can accommodate your diet needs. You can easily make a food substitution within the meal plans. Additionally, you can review the Substitution List in our FAQ so you can replace your known intolerant foods with other foods within the same food category. Store-bought foods, including frozen entrees, mixes and sauces, may contain "hidden ingredients". A good example is for those who have a gluten intolerance or wheat allergy: gluten is often used as a thickener or texture enhancer, so read labels carefully. http://www.choosemyplate.gov/food-groups/dairy-counts.html
